Okay, yeah, I know - weekends don't mean much anymore to most of us but, for some reason, it still means something emotionally, and I tend to start work a little later than during the week. LOL, that meant I did not hit the computer until 8:30 am today instead of the usual 7:30 am!! It ALSO meant that I actually fixed a nice breakfast for us as opposed to the usual grabbing of something edible whenever the mood struck. Early am meals just don't work for me, so Bob and I tend to be on different meal schedules until dinner as he is definitely a breakfast person. And we have survived 20 years in spite of it ;-)
This weekend I am busy working on The Homepreneur's Adventure website, and the zillions of details that will go into this one. We are 5 weeks out at this point and have our speakers pretty well in place, and now working on fleshing out the Round Table sessions. We have added one more day to the event, so it is now 4 days, 3 sessions each day!
But last night....I made the mistake of reading one of those courses about how you SHOULD do your virtual summit and freaked out! ROFLMAO!!! YIKES!!!
Seriously, it advised you to pre-record all sessions, nothing live, but I WANT interaction between the audience and the speakers. I want to have at least 15 minutes of live Q&A for each 1-on-1 session and hopefully, 30 minutes for each Round Table. I think there is great value in spontaneity and that people tend to speak more honestly and are often more creative in their responses when not everything is planned!

Most of the presenters offer either training or coaching - and what better way to see if their program is a good fit for you than to be able to see the 'real' person behind the sales page??
|
|
And yes, given some of the recent audio issues with Zoom - this could be a little scary but what the heck, ya only live once, right?
|
But the bottom line is that sometimes we have to do things that scare us, to push our boundaries, to see what we can really accomplish. I don't think any of us thought we would have 2500 people sign up for our very first give away - but we did, and it gave us (us being the AMAZING Kitchen Sink Mastermind peeps!) the confidence and the COURAGE to keep moving forward and to keep trying new things.

Will this be an outrageous success? Maybe. Will it be a monumental flop? Nope, because at least we got off our collective tushes and TOOK ACTION!!!
|
|
And that my friends, is never a failure!!
