I have also had several people ask how the mailing software could be sending out the old link if I had actually saved the links correctly, and they appear correctly in the newsletter when I hit the send button.....Here is how this happens:
My newsletter software is integrated into my WordPress site. One of the big differences between an HTML site and a WordPress site is that all of the code and therefore any changes are actually resident on that particular page of the site. In contrast, WordPress content is stored in a MySQL database, and is pulled into your site as needed. This is why you can actually "rewind" to previous versions of a WP post when you are editing a page - you cannot do this with an HTML page! Once you delete a line of code, it is for all intents and purposes, gone.

So, occasionally, the newsletter software is pulling an outdated version from the database - usually because the MySQL server is lagging a bit on the updated (it happens!). Yesterday, it sent out about a thousand emails with the wrong link, and then the updated version kicked in, and everyone else got the correct version.

In all honesty with all of the issues going on right now - I am kinda amazed that anything is working!!

I LOVE THIS ONE!! Using Zoom is the norm these days - but I can tell you from personal experience that dealing with those 3 hr videos afterward is NOT easy! I have been waiting for this plugin from Matt Garrett since he first announced it a month ago and picked it up this am!
