It's Saturday and this is the "Co-VID Christmas Countdown" for our family Christmas Eve dinner, and to be honest, I am doing this with a great deal of trepidation, in spite of all of the precautions we are taking....AND last night they announced a major cold front moving in Thursday, so this will certainly be an adventure, to put it mildly, since the whole shebang is being held in the garage with the DOORS OPEN!!
As I have mentioned previously - I LOVE to cook and special events like this are my chance to shine - but this year - it's contactless boxed meals to meet the state-mandated guidelines, individual cupcakes for my youngest "faux son's" birthday instead of a cake, and individual ice cream cups. A table for each household, masks, and LOTS of Santa-tizer (sorry, could not resist that one!).

It will definitely be one to remember if we do not freeze to death before dessert...

Now about the subject line today - this week Cindy Bidar launched a course titled "Tiny Course Empire", which I have and love, and promoted, with an 'accountability' group as the bonus (see below). As most of you know, I am not a big fan of 'unlimited' anything accounts, especially hosting and file storage, but I DID buy Michael Mac's "PROFIT SUITE" this week for 2 reasons: 1) the price is one-time and stupid low at under $17.00, and 2) between this launch and the recent standalone hosting offer - Michael has sold more than 15,000 units. That is enough to launch a decent hosting company and cover their bills for a while.

I have also known Michael since the days of the old Warrior Forum, and when I needed support recently - he responded to my email personally, so I am hopeful in regards to this one.
BTW - I will be going through all of the features over the holiday break, and we can go through them all on the next Kitchen Sink call January 7, 2021.

I will be using this mainly for new blogs that I am starting, and want to use to connect to my money sites (my own little private blog network for SERPS!) will be hosted here, so that I have them on a different IP...and that is a topic for another newsletter!). I plan to use the storage for graphics, and things that are taking up drive space, but I won't be suicidal if something happens to them, if that makes sense.

Matt Garrett is back with WP Simulator, and I jumped all over this one! It basically lets you create a 'local' version of a WordPress website on your computer, so you can play with and make changes to your site, without messing up your actual site! It's also great if you want to learn WordPress at your own pace or change themes etc without the entire world seeing what you are doing! This means you can change your site as many times as you want while trying to decide on that final perfect version - and only you will know how many times you changed that logo or front page! You can also make a full clone of your website after any change or update, and store it safely offline so you always have a fallback if your site is ever hacked!! It's at $16.23 right now so a true bargain!
