So, the game plan, after our Digital Workshop Zoom yesterday, was that I was going to grab some dinner and then finish up the Tuesday Tutorial newsletter, which usually takes a couple of hours. But instead, I wound up dealing with a 'mom issue', and the rest of the evening went up in flames. And no, not a health issue, just the joys of dealing with someone that never held a job and is still disappointed that I went into business instead of following in 'her footsteps'.

LOL yep, someday we will do a Zoom on dealing with narcissistic parents - it can be a full-time job as I am sure many of you are aware, but it is what it is.

Licensing rights - An Update!!
A common topic on our chats is how we can stay within the licensing guidelines of all of the various graphic and font vendors that we use.
Recently, we were discussing the changes at CreativeMarket.com over the past couple of years, and I discovered another change this am - I do not know when this occurred but the licensing rights for fonts are now extremely restrictive, and if you want to use a purchased font on more than one website that you own - the pricing is based on the estimated number of pageviews, with nothing stated in regards to future growth (ie you buy the font for a site you just launched - what happens when the site is getting 50,000 pageviews a month?) As most of you know, I am not a big fan of 'unlimited' anything accounts, especially hosting and file storage, but I DID buy Michael Mac's "PROFIT SUITE" this week for 2 reasons: 1) the price is one-time and stupid low at under $17.00, and 2) between this launch and the recent standalone hosting offer - Michael has sold more than 15,000 units. That is enough to launch a decent hosting company and cover their bills for a while.
