The humidity reprieve is over: the air is thick enough to cut and the neighbor is having roof work done today (love those nail guns!!), and between the two, I seem to be moving at the proverbial snail's pace today!

And to give credit where credit is due: The contest idea came from one of our Thursday Zoom chats - Member Jan (SimpleHappiness.biz) read about a Mom Blogger who had over 2500 optins from a viral contest and suggested that maybe we could do something similar. It sounded like a fun idea and so we ran with it. Okay, maybe actually we tripped and stumbled a bit with it first, but I am thrilled to announce that we now have almost $1500 in prizes donated, and more to come! And yes, from names that you will recognize ;-)

This project is such fun and we are all learning so much! Will it be a perfect, flawless event? Probably not! Will everyone learn something by participating? Yes, definitely! Will everyone build their list? Yes, absolutely!! Will we do it again? You betcha!

The whole key is taking action - it's about PROGRESS not PERFECTION!!! It's all about getting off your tush and getting it done. And truthfully - it can be terrifying to put yourself out there, and risk rejection and criticism - but know, too, that most of the criticism will come from people that have never done what you just did, so round file it, and move on!
Ruthie, Chrissy and I are already making plans for 202 and we would love to have you all come along for the ride! If we can do all this while in quarantine, watch out world if we ever get loose.... ;-)
