Whee!! The sun is back today and I am so happy about that! We are a tiny bit crazy (ok maybe a lot crazy?) in that my hubby and I have about 40+ tropical plants that we winterize because treating a hibiscus or bougainvillea like an annual and letting it die every year when the frost hits just feels like murder to me. I am probably the only person in Cincy that has a 12-foot Bird Of Paradise in the living room or a 15-year-old tri-color bougainvillea in their dining room ;-). So we took a few plants out to the covered patio today for a little fresh air although they will not actually make the summer trek for another couple of weeks yet as we can and do often have frost as late as mid-May....and dragging plants in at midnight is not fun...don't ask how I know that....
Yes, I have a very understanding hubby....but that bougainvillea has become his pet ;-)
