Even though it's dreary and drizzly in Cincy today, overnight the big oak trees on the property leafed out in their full lime-green spring glory! Born and raised in California, I am still awed by spring and how it just seems to happen all at once! I can't wait for the fireflies to come out in a few weeks - another delight that I had never experienced before moving here! The 'locals' all laugh at me but I don't care - sitting on my back deck, sipping a glass of sangria while watching the fireflies dance across my yard is still magical to me after all of these years. The geese and ducks are nesting on the pond, the tiny (2 inches from nose to tail!) frogs are bellowing nightly like a foghorn, and the turtles are laying their eggs in the sand of the pond's 'beach' (I use that term very loosely).
In spite of all that is going on around us, Mother Nature is here, and doing well in my backyard ;-)
And...drum roll, puh-leeeze.....by popular demand (SERIOUSLY!!) Ruth over at Ritchie Media has invited me back for another chat on Tuesday, May 5 at 1pm EST. Details to follow, and look forward to another great session. And yes, you will be able to send in questions beforehand, and we will try to answer as many as possible on the call.
