I hope everyone had a great weekend! It was certainly a different 4th of July here, with masks being made mandatory July 3rd! But there were fireworks all around us even though most of the public events had canceled, so we just sat on our driveway and watched a 360-degree fireworks show! As we are all doing these days, we pivot from our past 'normal' to find joy where we can. We cope.

Our recent Pinterest experiment using a brightly colored pin versus the more common pale peach/pin/taupe so popular in the planner niche, continues to be an interesting one! As of right now, I have had 63 optins, resulting in $106 in sales. My ad spend was $27.00 during this period. More than 50% of the links came from organic traffic BEFORE I ran the ads! Almost 29k impressions, 58 saves, 310 clicks, and 500+ 'taps' for a closer look.
BUT - I had heard that Pinterest is now placing far more weight on FRESH content and this would appear to be the case as the bulk of the views came in the first 5 days - after which the views SHARPLY declined. So keep this in mind when scheduling your pinning activities!
