Interestingly, GBird's given name is Garrett, the same as my birth father, who was stricken with Type 3 Polio, at the way too young age of 22, in 1956. He was paralyzed from the neck down, and in an iron lung until he passed away at the age of 27 - so I want to do whatever I can to help this Garrett live the life my own dad never got to enjoy!
