I hope everyone is well, and coping as best as you can with this surreal situation. I had hoped to finish up the bonus for April's Lemarr's Content Creation Collection Toolbox but got waylaid with some apparently necessary preparation for the next couple of weeks. I was only a few miles from the epicenter of the Loma Prieta quake in CA, and still remember the aftermath very well. I tend to take crisis preparation pretty seriously and so have stocked up as much as possible for the next month.

This also means that more people in the coming months are going to be looking for ways to supplement their income to make up for revenue lost during this time - or to start their transition from office work to a home-based business, so it's time to think about how we can step up and help friends, family and clients to make that leap. And I don't mean simply by selling them more 'stuff' but rather by upgrading the content and training we make available for free. I am thinking beyond list building and more into the realm of 'karma-building'. More on that in coming issues ;-)

Getting GREAT reviews on this one: Barb Ling and Dennis Becker released a very inexpensive guide to using the GumRoad marketplace today. GumRoad looks very promising and very easy to start selling (easier than Etsy I think!). 63 pages long, written in a 'cheat sheet' sort of style, but a lot of good info if you want to expand to a new marketplace.
