Getting the newsletter out early today as the hubby and I are getting our booster shots today! This was NOT planned - we learned yesterday that our local Walgreen's had availability, and so we jumped online and made appointments because we are both at the 'tail-end' of our original vaccine coverage, and the local hospitals are inundated right now with new cases. And with the holidays coming up and Delta in full bloom here, we felt it was a good idea to get our boosters. However, I know several people that have gotten pretty sick with the boosters, so I am more than a bit concerned about my work schedule, too! I was just starting to get caught up so hoping that I have a fairly mild reaction!

The popular topic this week...
No question about it - the number one topic this week is about which autoresponder services are 'safe' to use - and by safe, we mean for those of us that are affiliate marketers.

From what I am hearing, there were many internet marketers that lost their MailerLite accounts over the past few weeks, most notably in our 'circle', Yadsia, owner of TheOnlineTemplateShop.com. Yadsia is both a product creator and an affiliate marketer, and a true professional in every sense of the word, yet she lost her account anyway.
The kicker is that MailerLite DOES clearly state that affiliate marketing is prohibited but I, and many others, have been told by their customer support that aff marketing as we do it is okay....but obviously, it is not. The fact that it IS in fact prohibited in their TOS means that they can shut you down anytime they decide to do so, and you will lose the argument to be re-instated.
If you are with MailerLite - or any other service that prohibits Affiliate Marketing in their TOS - you may slide for a while but you are basically living on borrowed time. You probably will get shut down at some point, and probably sooner rather than later.
From what I have heard, MailerLite did let everyone get their mailing lists downloaded, but not all services are this generous. Most services will shut you down, and delete your list without giving you a chance to recover it.

I would love to say that I have the perfect solution for us all but I am not sure that one exists! Two of the most popular ones are Birdsend and Convertkit, both of which are affiliate friendly, but neither is perfect, based on user feedback.

I am going to be trying out my Mailvio account next week, with their Clickvio software, and will let you know how that goes ;-). Clickvio is a newsletter creation software, that lets you create your newsletter with a drag and drop editor and then lets you export to pure HTML so you can add the content to your mail software and as content on your blog or website - great for the Google spiders!!

I've been anxiously waiting for this course for ages!! As most of you know, I am a Photoshop person - it is open all day on my desktop and use it off and on every day. But it is not cheap, and there IS a learning curve - even with courses! Canva is awesome and affordable - but it DOES lack a lot of the flexibility in PS...and then along came the market disruptor, Affinity. Affordable and easier to learn, it's quickly gained market share and I predict that it will only improve as time goes on. There are a few things yet that I would like to see added but for the price? You can make do!!
This new course, by Catherine Beebe, promises to be a #1 winner, based on her other courses. If you plan on using Affinity and want to get the most out of it - I recommend you grab this one!

It's rare that I buy upsells on products, but I did on this one, because I love what it does! This basically is a Wordpress plugin that lets you create a bridge page to an affiliate offer very quickly, and overlay YOUR message "on" the sales page. At first, I was not sure how useful it would be but then I thought about using this to remind the visitor of my bonus for the offer, or do a quick video review of the new product. And the upsell lets you place a sticky note graphic (among other things) over the offer so you don't even have to do a video.
The sales page has a great video showing exactly what you can do with this plugin - NOT another blind sales page. I think you will love this one!

CLIPREELS - VIDNAMI REPLACEMENT?

ClipReels
This is being billed as a replacement for Vidnami - I purchased this am but have not had a chance to test it yet but it is on launch special pricing right now, and I have had good luck with the company's software in the past, so fingers crossed!! I don't think it has as many templates as Vidnami did, but it does seem to have a huge image library, which most of the replacements to date have not had.
You can copy and paste URLs into ClipsReels, but you can also copy and paste ANY text to create outstanding videos too. Use this with your blog posts, scripts, or any other content you have access to and quickly make videos that get results. One of the best features is that it creates both square and vertical videos so you can use for Stories!
