I hope this finds everyone relaxing after a nice weekend..but hey! I know that is not the case for most of us. Too much to do and not enough hours in the day - and we have some huge goals that we still want to reach as we head into Q4 very soon.
|
As many of you know, I am NOT a big Facebook person - there are just so many demands on my time during the day and only so many hours to get things done, but I was on the WarriorPlus group yesterday when I was struck by how many people were complaining that they had been trying to make this whole 'affiliate thing' work for them and it was just not working.
|
One person complained that they had been asking for help for 2 years and not one person had helped them....and another responded "YES!! I know exactly what you mean...I ask for help and all I get is emails from people trying to sell me stuff with their affiliate links'.
Hellloooo???

I am sorry but I had to laugh! So you don't want to get emails from people selling stuff - what exactly did you think YOU were going to do to make money online? And you have been asking for help for 2 years and not one person has offered to help? SERIOUSLY? The question I have to ask is this: what have YOU been doing in those 2 years??
|
This is the mindset that so many products that we see - you know the ones with the blind sales pages that promise 'push button' traffic and thousands a day with just minutes of works? - prey on. The people that want to believe that there is a magic button that you can push that will fill our PayPal account with just a few minutes of button-pushing.
|
Internet marketing is not rocket science -
but it does take work and commitment, and above all:
CONSISTENT ACTION!!
Whether you want to be an Amazon author, or a creator of planners and Journals, or simply an affiliate marketer - it takes work. No one is going to hand you the keys to some magic kingdom because they simply do not exist.

I dabbled in the internet marketing space, just as a side gig/fun thing to do while I was deciding what to do about my main business. I was truly burned out, and tired, and it was still so time-consuming that I could not really build up a side business, but once I made the leap and started getting serious about my PLR business, the results spoke for themselves!
I am still not quite where I want to be, but then I also set some truly stupidly outrageous goals for myself, but I always do ;-) It keeps the old broad from getting lazy LOL. And every day - I get a little closer to that goal, outrageous though it may be, I WILL OBTAIN IT!
|
I have also made a point of surrounding myself with people that I know share my goals, and I make a point of continuously investing in my own education because I can always learn more from the peeps that are ahead of me on this path, like Debbie Gartner, Cindy Bidar, Tony Shepherd, and Yadsia Iglesias. I look for people that have been consistent in their activities and earnings, and that focus on long-term growth methods, not the 'here today, gone tomorrow' mentality.

BTW - speaking of those blind courses promising push-button traffic? I mentioned in a newsletter footer a couple of days ago that I was reviewing several different 'traffic generation' programs and would let you know if I found anything interesting...ugh...I bought and reviewed several programs and all were variations on the same software - and all were simply ways to spam different social networks!

So, I work every day, and get my systems in place, and bit by bit, day by day, the business grows, and so does the revenue ;-)
