Yes, I have been MIA for a couple of days. Nothing really major, just the usual crises, hysteria and trauma that seem to make up my days for the last few months, or as I refer to them now, the "Crises du Jour" ;-)
|
Some days all ya can do is laugh..
and yeah, there may be just a TINGE of hysteria mixed in there LOL!

The hubby is getting better every day, but my schedule was thrown out the window! Suffice it to say, that if I were an hourly employee - I would have fired me!!
|
BUT...I am not, and while I need to get back on schedule, this is why I left my former career behind to pursue something that offered more flexibility. I spent 25+ years in the FinTech world, which involved LOTS of travel, and long hours since we had clients around the globe - and since 'crises du jour' were pretty much the standard MO in that industry, my time was never my own. I was 'self-employed' but in reality, I was working for my clients. And the truth is, as long as you have customers, this will always be the case to some extent but today's business is still a lot easier to manage along with family situations than my prior one, and I am very grateful for that!
So is the challenge of starting, building, and running an online business really worth the end result? In my opinion, yes - a thousand times over!

I KNOW that we have ALL bought a zillion courses that tell us how easy it is to make money online - in fact, many make it sound so easy that at some point, you have probably wondered if there is something wrong with you, because you are apparently the only person on the planet that is not running an uber-successful online business!!
|
|
Take heart and know that that is NOT the case at all. There are a lot of moving parts to this whole online 'empire' thingie (think big, grasshopper!) and things rarely run smoothly. ;-(
But the end result is worth it, so do NOT give up!
