Happy Birthday...to ME ;-)

Today is my birthday. Number 67. I had originally planned on a big 67% off sale but as I dig through the rubble of my websites, I realize that there are more dead product links than I can deal with right at the moment so that sale WILL be coming but it's being pushed down the road a bit, after my website is fixed and settled down a bit. But be ready for it ;-)
I am normally a "Let's celebrate all month long" kinda person, cuz, well, I truly appreciate every moment spent on this side of the ground. My father died when he was 27, my sister at 19, so I have a pretty good idea of how fragile and precious life is. You have to enjoy it while you have it.
This birthday, though, is pretty much like the rest of the year since my last b'day: not exactly what we had expected! On one hand, Bob had a very unexpected hip replacement 2 weeks ago, so we are staying home and I am fixing my fave meal: TACOS!! But on the positive side, he is doing great and I know that in a few weeks he will back to his normal active life, and that is a good thing.

But overall, looking back over this past year - as stressful and strange as it all has been - there have also been some wonderful and unexpected highlights: my business has grown from a concept to something that pays the bills and while spending a year in lockdown - I have been blessed to meet an incredible group of people that we have come to call the Kitchen Sink Mastermind.
|
|
I've done things I never thought I could or would do (me? on Zoom?? NEVER!) and have had more fun than I would have thought possible while working harder than I have in the last decade! Together, we have stretched ourselves and accomplished more as a group than we could have individually. We built our lists, grew our businesses and found our paths, and had a blast doing it.
|
And the next year will be even better.
|
