Hey, everyone!

Oh. My. Goodness. Talk about the best-laid plans going astray! Bob's surgery Monday went off without a hitch but the after stuff? Not quite so much! I won't get into details, but at a few minutes before 3, I get a call from the surgery center saying he is going to be released in about 30 minutes, so I just go zipping out the door, because I know that with traffic, it will take me about that long to get there at that time of the afternoon. So I don't take my iPad or any work stuff with me, cuz I won't have time for anything like that, right?

Wrong!! It was almost 6PM by the time they were able to release him (not their fault, certain criteria needed to be reached before release) then to the pharmacy to get his prescriptions, so it was almost 7 by the time we made it home. I passed the time sitting in the car alternately watching the cicadas zip by and the monsoons not-so-gently rock the Jeep.

Thankfully, although yesterday was a little rough, he is really doing very, very well, but the schedule of ice packs, meds, meals, and exercises has kept me hopping since he came home. No one mentioned the 20 min ice pack cycles beforehand which pretty much made doing Zooms impossible, so I really appreciate everyone's patience and understanding over the need to reschedule!

My schedule IS going to be impacted for a few weeks, as he will not be released to drive for 4 to 6 weeks, but I am optimistic that things will go well. And both of us are so appreciative of all of the kind messages and prayers! So very much appreciated!!!

The Kitchen Sink Mastermind - Special Presentation!

Today, we WILL have our regular Kitchen Sink Mastermind and a very special session by Cara Boardwine: "On Camera with Cara!" In spite of all of the Zooms you have probably attended over the last year - I KNOW that many of you are still uncomfortable actually speaking up on a Zoom session! If you are not comfortable being on camera, you won't want to miss this one!
