And the sun is shining here today...oh wait...no it's raining...no, it's sunny...no it's...well..I think you get the drift. Weather here seems to be on a minute-by-minute basis, so no point in worrying about it. Just make your plans and deal with it!
|
And that is pretty much my mantra these days, as I had planned to finish up the new18 month planners last week for a Monday launch, but instead it looks like Wednesday. The printable planner is done, but I still need to get the sales page done, and juggle that with things that need to be done around the house in prep for Bob's surgery.
|
Speaking of which - thank you for all of the kind and thoughtful notes! Bob is really in great health, and we have full confidence in his doctors, based on the outcome of his knee 'cleanup' almost two years ago - but we do need to figure out the sleeping arrangements for his first week. LOL it's a 4 bedroom house with only one actually used for a bedroom. Nope, we do not have relatives or friends that live out of the area so it's never been a problem until now ;-) Just do to do some 'finagling' and get a little creative but it will all be done in a couple of days. Just figured it was better to get it done sooner rather than later...

And yes, I am taking some time off this week to do some staycation stuff around town with the hubby (Butterfly Show - here we come!!), but mainly getting products launched and some new list building things put together for us. Taking a break from work to work..um, yep. That's it.

Our Podcast Directory Updates...
I did not spend as much time as I wanted to on it this weekend, thanks to the household chores, but I am loving the new Thrive Theme, Ommi. It is gorgeous and lets you painlessly carry over your style and branding from page to page. I have a feeling I will be using it for a couple of the new blogs that I have planned. It is very different from Divi, and probably not quite as flexible if you are doing those 45-page sales letters...but for what I want, the gradient swatches the system makes available for everything that you do are incredible. I also found some beautiful alcohol and ink backgrounds at CreativeFabrica that I am using in some of the background areas, and really loving the look so far.

HAH!! And they call this work.....FUN!! At any rate, the Directory is well underway and is actually functional, just not 'finished' yet.

I have mentioned this in the past - one of my pet peeves is negative headlines, and there was a GREAT example in my inbox this am - these two headlines from two different folks were promoting the SAME course:

Interestingly, the first one was from a very well-known coach - many of you are probably on her list - but if I am a failure, and I am on her list - what does that say about her as a coach? The very fact that she assumes there are enough failures on her list to use that headline is enough to make me lose confidence in her ability to teach me to be successful!
|
Maybe I am wrong. Maybe that approach works very well for her, but I much prefer a positive approach to all things that I tackle.
As I have said in the past: I don't like negative marketing, and there are no failures just learning opportunities. Offer me an opportunity to move forward and you get access to my PayPal account. Call me a failure....where was that unsub button??

Upcoming Kitchen Sink Training!
This is going to be so much fun! We already have volunteers for Canva and Affinity trainings for June, and Ruthie and I will do an aMember training as well. Since I have a couple of new products coming out soon, our first training will be a WarriorPlus walk-through Thursday, May 23.

And yes, I will post the scheduled trainings on our calendar, and we will label the replays with each topic as well ;-)
So - by request! - we are going to start up our training series again, featuring a different topic each week! I am working up the schedule now and will be bringing in guest speakers as well.

• From long-time software creator, Paul O'Keefe aka Keefy - Curation Cloud is a new cloud-based system that works seamlessly with your WordPress sites and lets you quickly fill up existing sites with content or get new ones up and running quickly.

IMPORTANT: There have been several similar systems recently but all forced you to build sites on THEIR platform, so if the company disappeared, your sites would go away as well. This is a system that sends content to YOUR WordPress sites, meaning that you are in control of your Virtual Real Estate!!! And even if you simply want to sell your planners and think you do not need any content - think again. Google wants every website to have content, and this is a good and quick way to get it.

This is another great way to build your lists by giving away all of those lead magnets we all have with a 'magic button' that automatically pops up a Facebook link to the visitor's Facebook account, adds their Facebook address to YOUR list, and posts your offer to their feed - all with their permission, of course, and within FB's TOS! You can add the button to any page, and you can redirect them to any page you want afterward!

It's really slick, super well-priced, and puts our lead magnets to good use!

James Renouf is back with another great crypto course about CoinDrops - and yes, they do exist, and yes, you really can get free crypto through them. Do not do what I did: I had a small but growing portfolio that I had built up with coin drops...and I lost my key when my hard drive died. Today, my wallet details are stored everywhere you can think of.
BTW - pass on the Facebook group, the first OTO is good but the rest, I passed on. Intrigued by the final one...but not enough to drop $497 to find out LOL

Favorite Releases This Week:
I finished going through this one last night and I have to say that this might be my favorite "course creation' course to date! One of the reasons for this is that D'vorah actually goes into a lot more detail than most about how to actually get your course into a format that you can sell/deliver to your customer, something that has been lacking in most of the courses.
