There IS a learning curve....
|

And another week bites the dust! And although I THOUGHT I had scheduled lightly for December - hmmm....I think I need to revisit my concept of a 'light' schedule! LOL no less than 7 Zoom Workshops between now and Christmas, but hey? What else do I have to do, right? No, do NOT answer that....
|
But in truth, I enjoy the Workshops and hope to do more actual courses in the coming year, but it is important to me that the courses be valuable, and not done simply because I need to launch something for revenue!
|
I have purchased so many courses - usually highly recommended by others - over the past two years that were so obviously thrown together for the sake of a quick revenue hit that it is depressing - courses that bore little to no resemblance to the link-bait title and many that were simply barely-rehashed PLR.
|
And most of these 'course creators' do this over and over....and TBH - it's OUR fault that this keeps happening...because too often, we buy what we think is a fab course, based on the sales page or a recommendation...but we don't actually get around to it until weeks (months?) later.
|
And by that time...we have probably purchased even more courses by the same 'creator' before we realize what a waste of money the whole pile is!
|
And yes, I am as guilty as anyone at this! But I am going to try to be MUCH better about this in 2023 - because we truly need to support the folks that create GOOD content and stop spending our money on those that don't.
|
So - one of my MAJOR goals in 2023: I will not buy a second course from anyone until I can honestly say that the first one was worth what I spent.
|
And before you ask - if I recommend a course, yes, I HAVE purchased it and reviewed at least 50% of it UNLESS it is someone that I know and have confidence in the quality of their products!! ;-)
