I am happy to report that my flurry of self-inflicted injuries seems to have abated for the time being, but I am still avoiding power tools and shamelessly using it as an excuse to avoid cooking too ;-) LOL

Yesterday was our Kitchen Sink Mastermind, and we talked at length about 2022, what went right and what went off track, and what we want 2023 to look like. As one member stated, it's pretty much just going with the flow right now, and TBH - I think that is a pretty healthy attitude to have at this time!
|
I know we need to have an identifiable path for our businesses, and goals and benchmarks to make sure we are on the right course....but I also think that many of us get so focused on getting to the next level that we forget that a big reason for starting our own business was to have a better life and actually enjoy doing what we do!
|
We've gone through a LOT of changes over the past couple of years, and things are still very fluid for most of us. Getting organized, and taking stock of what we have, where our businesses and our hearts are seem to be major and necessary goals for Q4, so that we can tackle 2023 with renewed energy and interest.
|
Personally, I know that I have some major changes coming up in the next few months, and my focus right now is getting my home AND my business pared down, (although I am not getting rid of any shoes...one has to draw the line somewhere...), so that I can head into the next chapter of life well and fully prepared.
|
Tweaking things here and there, back to list-building in a major way ;-) but also - giving myself a 'hall pass' on the stuff I did not get done these past few months because so much was going on, something had to give. I tend to push myself pretty hard, and sometimes I need to be nicer to me ;-)
|
And yes - I am willing to bet that a lot of you can identify with that sentiment!
So here is to a kinder, gentler Q4, and to laying the groundwork for an incredible 2023!

Her language is on the salty side at times but she has multiple awards to prove she is the 'real deal', having sold millions of dollars of her gorgeous planners and journals.
