Happy Friday! A couple of years ago - after living here for almost years - wild turkeys started showing up on the property! The pics do not do them justice as they are truly gorgeous up close. And yes, we feed them - and they are not coming to dinner as the main course LOL!
I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend - we will be taking a break from home repairs this weekend, as there are so many fun fall happenings going on around here. First up though is the twins' football game tonight - over the last two weeks, one had his first Varsity TD and the other his first interception, so it's been fun to watch!

Response to yesterday's column......

....has been much more than I was expecting....

Based on the response from yesterday's newsletter, I am not just a grumpy old lady! YEA! Well, according to my hubby, I still might be, but at least not in regard to this particular issue LOL!
|
Overwhelmingly, the response was AGAINST this new trend, and people are keeping their money in their pockets when faced with these 'buy-me-blindly' scenarios.
And one comment that came up over and over?
This type of sales process shows a lack of respect for the customer. As one reader put it "It makes me think that the vendor views us as lemmings - ready to follow them blindly over the cliff, no matter the price of the offer, so we don't really need to know what the hell we are buying".

We have seen this direct-to-shopping cart sales funnel now at virtually every price point, from $7 offers to $997 courses, and while we all understand that sales pages are not fun to create, as your customers, we still want them. We still want to know what we are buying and what we are getting for our money.
So show us a little love if you want to dip into our wallets, ok??
