My last newsletter topic, "Home Biz Burnout", definitely resonated with a LOT of you! I don't think I have ever had so many responses to any newsletter before! The bottom line is that if you are feeling tired, frazzled and isolated, you are not alone!

As I said before, working from home is not for everyone. Some people need other people and one on one interaction more than others do. One of the most common comments was that many are tired of wearing their 'casual' clothes every day and miss getting dressed up to go to the office. And I DO understand all of those comments, because at some point over the last 25 years - I have probably been through every one of those phases.

But here is something that I have learned the hard way: you HAVE to focus on the pluses that the home business offers: I don't have to run errands on the weekends when the rest of the world is out. I can do a late lunch with the hubby when the restaurant is between the lunch and dinner rush, and it's peaceful and relaxing. And I can always make the grandkids' sports events - even if I am the only grandma sitting there answering emails on her iPhone during the game! At least I can be there ;-)

Working from home is not for everyone, but before you give up on the dream, really sit down and assess what's important and why you started on this path in the first place. Oftentimes, when we are the most frustrated and close to giving up - the breakthrough is actually just right around the corner. Yours may be that close, too.
