Wow!
What a week this has been...I have bronchitis and can barely talk without coughing. Mom and her dog were in the path of Ian but not in need of evacuation, so I spent a full day trying to make sure they had everything needed for an extended power outage or water issues, so ordered canned goods, bottled water and batteries. A neighbor with medical issues was trying to break into everyone's home on the block, so I got her set up with security goodies for her home...both my refrigerator and upright freezer stopped working within 24 hours of each other...

I could go on but you probably get the drift...oh yeah, throw in there the offer on the house made last week by my neighbor's parents, and yes, chaos was pretty much the buzzword around here this week

So, um, yeah, missed a couple of days of newsletters LOL. Life goes on. Ian turned out to be just 'another tropical storm' according to mom, by the time it got to her place. The neighbor was arrested and placed under medical observation, and will probably be going to a medical facility where he will get the care he needs. I am still coughing but the congestion is MUCH better. The freezer and refrigerator are repaired and both are functioning again.

But all worked out: the Bengals won last night, the sun is shining today, and I have a pantry full of pumpkin spice goodies.
