No, this online thang is never boring, but dang, sometimes I do wish it was...and again, all you can do is laugh....so here goes....
|
Apparently, a LOT of people stopped getting my newsletter after August 12th....and after much research and back and forth with the esp....I discovered that the folks that signed up for a recent workshop were not just added to the event update list - they were MOVED from the newsletter list to the event list.
|
Now the interesting thing is that there is no way to create this type of automation in this particular system's rather limited form builder...the software did it on its own.

I started by checking the emails of the folks that had reached out - and found that ALL of them now were on one list only - even though I knew that they had been on several different workshop lists...and none were on the newsletter list...
|
What were the odds that 12 intelligent folks had accidentally unsubbed on the same day? Hmmmm....about the same that I was going to win the Mega Millions lottery over the weekend...and I had not bought a ticket...
|
So I pulled up the whole list for the Workshop and everyone that had registered over a 5-day window now belonged ONLY to the Workshop list. Not a one was on the newsletter list.
|
Well, at least we know now why you were not getting the newsletter. It was not the evil Yahoo or Google gods, it was an evil email service software running amok.
The workshop is past, and everyone has been added back into the Newsletter list.

Helen Ross had the stage today in the 4th LIVE "Amp Up Your Business" Summer Workshop. Her topic was Branding and it was fantastic - she obviously knows her stuff and we were all frantically taking notes!

This has been such a fun event to participate in because it was a chance to see an entirely different side of women that I have known and worked with on numerous projects in a whole new light. Knowledge and skillsets, even life events, that I never knew about before now - makes me wonder what other wonderful talents are yet to be shared?
