Tough to believe that it is Friday already, but yep here it is! So far this week, the septic tank motor blew, and a pine tree fell over and is now spread across one side of the horseshoe drive, so glad to put this one behind us!

Yesterday was the 'official' BC Stack Workshop - “How To Turn Your Ideas, Knowledge or Skillset Into A List-Building Powerhouse!!”.

It was all about list building with lead magnets, or as some people call them, 'freebies'. I see so many people giving away the same products in event after event or very low-quality products, and then complaining that they aren't getting quality leads.
|
TIP: If you want to get a quality lead - give away a quality product!
|
Your visitor is NOT getting it for free - they are paying for it with their email address - and if you want the GOOD email address - give the visitor a reason to part with it, and to want to get more goodies from you!
As we discussed yesterday - your Lead Magnet is your chance to show a potential new customer how great your work is - giving away anything less than your best is akin to showing up for a first date wearing an outfit you fished out of the bottom of the laundry hamper.

That old saying about having only one chance to make a first impression applies here - put your best work forward - in bite-size pieces if you want! - but make sure that your potential audience sees what you are capable of, and always leave them wanting more ;-)

Must have been something in the water last month but this is a very similar product to HyperList - one of the big differences though is that this is supposed to be GDPR compliant.
|
That being said, I picked them both up because I find that you really cannot tell until you put them through their paces, and at $20 apiece, I felt it was worth the investment.
Chances are that I will like one better than the other but there are enough differences that I can see using them both.
