When the right path is nowhere to be found.....

Sometimes the Universe says "BREAK TIME" and there is just not much you can do except say "OK!"
|
And that is what happened this week - Ruthie, Jan, Helen, Steph, and I all had full-to-the-brim schedules...and nothing was working right!!
|
LOL, I won't bore you with the details - just suffice it to say, that sometimes the best decision is to simply step back, take a deep breath, count to a gazillion (or two) and start over. And that is what we did!
|
Sometimes, a reboot is the best thing you can do, in business or in life.
I am not saying that we should give up because the path forward is not easy - not much in life ever is - but if you have been hammering away diligently and consistently at something for a year...maybe it's time to sit down and take an honest look at why it is not working for you?
|
Now, understand that I do not consider "diligently and consistently" to be 5 hours a week of working on your side hustle. I mean something more in the full-time range - like more than 30+ hours a week. If you are doing this and not seeing results yet - then you need to look at your overall gameplan, because you SHOULD be seeing results. And to me results = $$$
|
One of the biggest faults I think that we as entrepreneurs have is that we fall in love with a concept or idea, and try to force it to be successful.
|
I hate to say it but that rarely happens in real life.
That old saying "Follow your passion" has led many passionate entrepreneurs into bankruptcy.
Yes, it does work for some but in all honesty? You will probably do better to follow the customers and the money.
|
Too pragmatic? Maybe but it's why Google is all about buyer intent and search term algorithms.
|
Follow your audience and THEIR passions rather than your own. If the two align - AWESOME!! But if they don't - make your adjustments to your concept sooner rather than later.
|
P.S.
It's amazing how many times we find that just a TINY tweak can give GREAT results, so you don't always need to throw it all away and start from scratch - just take a step back and get a fresh perspective ;-)

Affiliate marketing is without a doubt one of the best ways to make a living online, and I freely admit that I snap up everything that I can to soak up as many techniques as I can. And believe it or not - I picked up two new tips before I was halfway through the first video of the main course!
