Happy whatever-holiday-someone-has-decided-today is!!
So far over the last couple of weeks, I have celebrated National Pizza Day, Have a Donut Day, and National Ice Cream Cone Day. Happily, I might add. Thursday is National Tea Day, in case you care ;-)

Every once in a while, a product comes along that really hits home, something that truly resonates at a deep level. At the age of 45, I walked away from my life in California, moved to Cincinnati, where I knew not a soul, and gave myself a completely fresh start (best gift I ever gave myself - even if it was scarey as hell!).

3 years ago I walked away from a successful consulting business in an industry that had changed so much in 30 years, that I barely recognized it anymore.
Soon, I will be leaving the home that I have loved and cherished for the last 22 years to move on to my next adventure.

Oftentimes, we hold on to things, people, places, and even emotions, far longer than we should because it is safer and easier than letting go. Personally, I learned to let go of anger and hatred, not through some sage or ancient advice - but from the words of the comedian George Carlin: "Hate is too good of an emotion to waste on someone you don't like"
Every time I get mad at someone, I think of that, start laughing and poof! Mad is gone.
