Our weather turned out to be gorgeous although warm but it IS July, so I am not complaining...not too much anyway.
|
I still don't know what we are doing this evening - if anything - but the fireworks will be all around us, and since we are on a bit of an elevation, we can often see fireworks from all over the city from our driveway. If we get really ambitious, we might walk up to the park and see their display, but it's a 2-mile walk, down a country sidewalk-less road in the dark...always an adventure...and in the current heat and humidity? Staying home and watching them from the driveway while sipping on a root beer float sounds much better ;-)
One of my big goals this weekend was to do some clean-up on my website - as is often the case, moving to a new host is not always perfect, and one of my popup plugins decided to not make the trip when we moved. This means that my optin lead magnets have been offline for a few weeks. Ordinarily, I would have quickly remedied the situation but I wanted to upgrade the optin anyway, so I let it slide a bit.
But you can only do that for so long! I normally new newsletter subscribers every day, mainly from organic traffic, and that was increasing every day..shame on me for not getting this fixed sooner...but I have been just a tad bit busy lately, in my defense LOL!

With the end of the year quickly approaching, I find that giveaways that relate to having a strong Q4 or even planning ahead for Q1 2023 will get good traction and that these are the kinds of customers that my core products will appeal to.
In other words - this kind of giveaway will usually attract the BUYERS that I want as well.
And I tend to go a bit overboard on my optin gifts, because I want to show new visitors/subscribers a GREAT example of my work - and what they can expect by signing up to my newsletters.
Remember - you only have one shot to make a great first impression!

So what kind of customers do you want? What is a problem that they need to solve right now? What is a 'pain point' for them right now? What can you create that will bring them closer to a resolution?
|
|
And one last tip - if you have not changed your optin gifts in a while, it's a good idea
|
to change them out on a regular basis, especially is you are in the PLR or Low Content niche since this is a fairly small one. Just because someone did not optin to your newsletter 6 months ago, does not mean that they won't this time.
A good idea is to have a portfolio of 4 to 6 gifts that you can rotate across your home page and your blog posts, to give you a better chance at capturing that email address.

It's been a while since I reviewed and recommended any software products - seems like there has been nothing original for a while - all a bunch of 'me toos!'.
|
First of all, let me state that Tonai is NOT perfect.
Tonai will still not sound as good as you would on your own videos - but if you want to create content to drive traffic and do it quickly - this is one of the best I have seen so far. It also lets you produce videos in virtually any language, which is a major plus if you want organic traffic that most people never go after ;-)
One complaint about the sales page - they do NOT have a good demo of all of the various tones/voices, and I have asked them to see if they can fix this ;-) but I did have the chance to hear many of them on a previous demo and found them very impressive.
