Wow! Thank you so much for all of the support that my first course, The Digital Planner Intensive, has received! I love doing things like this live because I personally learn better that way. Seeing it first-hand originally, and then being able to watch the replays really seems the best way for something to 'click' for me!

TBH - I am not sure if this is the permanent name for the course - it seems so limiting because there is sooooo much more that you can do once you have the basic skillset of mapping and hyperlinking! Workbooks, Vision Boards, Health Trackers, even full-blown courses, if you want!
You are really only limited by your imagination!

A lot of internet marketers share their sales and revenue numbers with their readers with the hopes that it will encourage them to buy their products and courses, thereby following down that same path to riches.

It's a great idea - and it works! - but there is a wrong way to do this and a right way.
The problem is that the wrong way can get you in a lot of trouble with the FTC!
|
If you want to share your earnings - follow along the way Debbie Gartner and Mike from Maine do it: a complete breakdown of expenses and income, line item by line item, so it is very transparent. Gross vs net. Income minus expenses.
|
For most of us, there may be a good gap between gross and net, and the FTC frowns upon the concept of telling your audience that you made XXXX...when you really only banked half of that.
|
Another issue that I am seeing a lot are PROMISES...promises to make lots of money, promises that you can quit your job, etc etc. As per the FTC mandated disclaimer that should be on EVERYONE'S website...we cannot make any promises or claims regarding income or results. And do not think that the FTC only goes after the big guys!!!
So just be careful and most importantly, truthful in what you say, and stay safe!
