An early Mother's Day to you! I am saying that today as I honestly don't know if I will have time to send out a newsletter tomorrow - and probably not going to have time to get something together for tomorrow.

Mother's Day is a very special day for me - (long story there) - I was blessed with two wonderful 'faux' sons from Bob's first marriage. Tomorrow, we will have brunch with my youngest, and the oldest sent a huge box of chocolate-covered strawberries. I have 3 amazing grandsons, 2 grandpuppies and even share a glass of wine with their mom at family gatherings, so

After brunch, Bob and I are heading to a Reds game, which even though they are off to the worst start in franchise history - will still be fun, because well, how can you NOT enjoy an afternoon at a ballpark??

Did you know that Wordpress.org - the home of all things WordPress, including the Plugin and Theme directory - now also offers a 'Patterns" directory? Now, this is not patterns as most of us would think of, but rather is a fantastic library of pre-created templates that you just cut and paste to create new sections on your WP blog!! You will find everything here from buttons to columns to gradients!
How to use patterns on your WordPress site:

Patterns are really just text. And, just like you can copy and paste text, you can copy and paste patterns. It’s really easy!

- Open any post or page in the WordPress block editor.
- Place your cursor where you want to add the pattern.
- Paste the contents of your clipboard by holding down ctrl control (Windows) or ⌘ command (Mac) and pressing the v key, or right-clicking and choose “Paste” from the menu.
