Hey, everyone!!
Well, I woke up at 5am and there was frost on the ground but it was dark and cold and I just grabbed a cat and went back to sleep...fast forward 2 hours and it's practically a blizzard! It has been snowing non-stop all morning and right now, we have close to 6 inches on the fence rails!
But the best part? I get to laugh while the weather folks talk about the messy Monday morning commute...although don't get me wrong - getting through the herd of cats at the bottom of the stairs to get to the coffee pot can be a challenge some days - but still better than hitting the expressway 😉

Yesterday I told you about the transition to BirdSend, which was not on the calendar but a necessity and going very, very well. It's a very different system, and I have a lot to do yet to get everything where it needs to be so it's a work in progress, but so far my deliverability is much better so fingers crossed and they are MUCH cheaper than pretty much anyone else too, so definitely a good thing.
All in all, I am happy with the move, and TBH, the only reason I had not made the move before was simply that I have a ton of optin forms that need to be updated now as well.
Now, as promised...my recent hosting story: I moved a while back to BigScoots, which comes highly recommended. I wanted CPanel and WHM (it's a platform to manage multiple websites easily), and during the discussions, I was told this was available....then somehow we ventured into the managed WordPress/VPS territory and I bit the bullet and signed up even though it was about double my previous host....but then I discovered that they had put me on their own 'in-house' platform not CPanel....and it was not going to be cheap to add CPanel to the account.
I was not happy.
But then I had a couple of major tech issues this week - one software update took the site down - and the ROCKSTARS at BigScoots had the situation resolved and fixed in under 15 minutes.
Seriously.
So I spent an entire day learning their proprietary control panel and at this point in time - I am not looking for hosting anywhere else, and I WILL be signing up for a separate Reseller account there for flipping sites ;-).
It's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I have recommended a host to anyone, but after these past two weeks - I give these guys a 5-star review!!
They also have a very affordable Reseller hosting plan which I am going to use my site flipping plans 😉
Hope to have another giftie or two for you later in the week as I continue to clean my digital house 😉 Now if only I could get motivated to clean the RL house....
