Well, the old folks had a fun day today. We decided we would head out for lunch, and the grocery store – mainly because we are short on kitty food…but we hit a patch of ice and couldn’t get out of the driveway…and couldn’t back up either….so half in the road and half in the driveway. To make a long story short…between a piece of wood I found in the garage and a doormat, I managed to give the stuck tire enough traction to get out of the ice and back into the driveway…and we decided to stay home and raid the freezer for kitty food instead.
Note: kitties are quite happy with the steak substitution for dinner.
⛄Licensed Content vs Private Label Rights/White Label/Master Resell Rights
I am starting to see the phrase ‘licensed content’ bandied about more and more, mainly from people outside the PLR niche that suddenly seem to think this might be a way to add another revenue stream. Most of these people have never sold any type of PLR before, and in a couple of cases, I actually recognized the products being ‘licensed’ as PLR from sources we are all familiar with.
In the broadest of terms, Licensed Content, Private Label Rights, White Label and Master Resell Rights all mean pretty much the same thing, as they are simply different levels of usage rights that can be assigned (arbitrarily, I might add) to the content that you sell or buy by the content creator. Most of the products come with a license of some sort outlining your rights as the buyer…and those can vary insanely from seller to seller.
BUT...the content that is being marketed as “Licensed Content” seems to be selling for higher prices and in markets that are not generally aware of or used to this type of editable/brandable content.
