Yes, it's a FONT-tastic Friday!
|
I haven't done one of these in a while, so since I woke up at the ridiculous hour of 4am, I thought I would make good use of the extra time. I started out by making gluten-free banana nut muffins, (yep, wheat allergy!) and then spent a couple of hours searching out some new fonts on Google fonts. I could have also gotten in some house cleaning, but hey! Let's not get carried away!! LOL
Instead, I decided to spend some time surfing for new fonts. Fonts are soooo important in the low content niche - it's the quick and easy way to make your planner or workbook stand out from the rest. It can also set the tone as casual, serious, playful or totally business. A beautiful script font like Abuget (free here from CreativeFabrica) or a fun playful font like Ruge Boogie (below) are perfect for floral designs, while Amatic or Rock Salt are a great match for more modern designs, such as Memphis or Tribal graphics.
