I hope everyone is enjoying some quality time with friends, family and/or fur babies today. It's another gray 'fuzzy' day here, and all I really want to do is curl and go to sleep, like the kitty snoring beside my computer ;-) They definitely have the right idea today.

I don't know about you, but I found this year's herd of BF sales - pre, during, and post - overwhelming, so I ignored most of them. I probably missed some great deals, but I can live with that.
|
Instead, I created a list of areas that I want to work on in 2023, and then created a list of some good tools/courses/products that can help me hit my goals in those areas.
So, instead of looking at every major bundle/sale event that comes along - and being tempted - I have been monitoring a handful of products. If they hit a seriously discounted price point, I will pull the trigger but otherwise, I can wait until I actually have need of the product before I pull the trigger.

The two areas that I am most focused on are traffic generation and SEO, and I freely admit that I will buy pretty much every shiny new object on either topic but I have my eye on a some serious tools in both areas right now ;-)

Both of these are 'living' topics, meaning that they change constantly and it is almost impossible for us 'ordinary' peeps to stay on top of things as well as people that do this day in and day out full time.
|
I also love reading about new methods for driving traffic, techniques to take advantage of new social sites, etc. Even though I don't always agree with the methods - those W+ reports DO back up their claims by selling thousands of their own products.
|
Yes, some of their methods might not be to our liking - but they ARE selling thousands of products, with only a handful of refunds, so something is working there - no matter how much we might dislike their cloned sales pages.
SO...I picked up a couple of the 'Holiday Bundles' and over the next couple of weeks will be going through them to see if there is anything that we can clean up and use for our own projects ;-)

It may be an exercise in futility - but no one in the PLR niche comes close to the IMers numbers...so maybe it's time we checked out what the 'dark side' is up to ;-)
