The birthday was fun, but still continuing! Everyone's schedules are so crazy these days that it is almost impossible to get everyone together at one time, so it's kind of a 'rolling' birthday party! Fine by me, cuz I get taken out to dinner a lot more, and I will never turn down a free meal! And Bob has been so patient as we have made the rounds to all of my fave restaurants, from Greek to Vietnamese. He's pretty much a meat 'n' potatoes kind of person, while I never met a cuisine that I did not like, courtesy of that California upbringing ;-)

And I have given myself a 'hall pass' for the week from dieting and/or eating healthy. Don't get me wrong - I love my veggies, but this is my week of self-indulgence/desserts and there will be no arguments or guilt ;-)

Yesterday, I had a very interesting and informative Zoom with David Perdew, and he did a great walkthrough of his Simple Click Tracker, and WOW! The interview will be posted next week for everyone, and although I have SCT and have been using it for a while, I have barely scratched the surface of what it can do!
|
The setup is simple but what it does? Definitely not! The latest version also allows you to set up UTM tracking (click HERE for a great explanation of what UTM is/does!) and with what is happening with affiliates, cookies and tracking - we need to know more than ever about what is happening with the links and buy buttons that we have out there.
Contrary to what some are saying - just because affiliates were not the INTENDED target of these changes - that does not mean that we are not the UNINTENDED victims. And after exhaustive testing and research and convos with some peeps that really do know this stuff - and sending more than a quarter million emails a month FILLED with affiliate links and images - I can tell you pretty confidently that there IS an issue, and it is likely not 'just' the economy.

I've spoken with some of the largest folks in the IM space, as well as SEO & marketing experts, and very few have not been hit and hit hard. And it's probably not just one thing that has happened - it's the perfect storm of multiple things that have affected deliverability and more, from Google's latest changes to Chrome and gmail, to the latest rollout of the IOS strategy.
And that's what I love about David's software - it gives me more data than anything else I have used and yet is the easiest to set up and use!

Because it was designed by the person that uses it DAILY! In the demo, I could see that there were more than 7,000 links set up in David's dashboard!!! Yes, his own personal campaigns over the years of using SCT!!
|
I will be posting the interview with David early next week, and probably a special offer from him as well - BUT - many of you have the single site license already if you bought BC Stack - if you did - dig it out and give it a go, I think you will be very glad that you did.
